    SACC leader Rohit Pandharkar sent following proposal for " Summer Internship Program for COEP students"
    (Donation: $250/- per student)
    When
    The newly designed academic calendar offers about a 3 month long summer vacation to students from all years (who are not academically weak, and are not taking summer semester for making up the dropped/failed courses)
    For whom
    Ideally for rising seniors (entering their senior year) and in exceptional cases for rising juniors.

    'Jal Maitri Yatra' group
    has purchased and launched a new boat - Training Skull' at the boat club. The boat was sponsored by COEP foundation member Anjali (Dadhe) Nandedkar and her husband Sanjeev Nandedkar.

    Summer Internships Stats
    22 students from Comp and IT depts were selected for internship at IBM this summer.
    3 students from Computer Dept are interning at NVIDIA and 1 at MICROSOFT.

    Importantly, both of them, while graduating have volunteered to offer a few sessions for current COEP students guiding for CAT preparations and GD/PIs. Their workshop will be SACC's next activity in June 2008.
