University . She finished her doctorate in Materials Science & Engineering in 1989. After conducting various research projects at IBM East Fishkill , NY for three years, Anjali founded ‘CASA Engineering’. In 1992 she developed and launched ‘atomistic defect simulation software’ that analyses and processes microscopic defects in materials. In 1997, she published the first ever ‘multi-media’ book for clinical electromyography. These books (available on DVD) are used by physicians for training and education. Her products have reached more than 40 countries. Anjali has several publications in the field of controlling microscopic defects in materials. She lives in Hopewell Junction , New York , USA with her husband (Sanjeev Nandedkar), two sons (Desh and Vishesh ) and her dog (black lab called Data). Besides developing new products, she enjoys teaching Indian classical music, creating perennial gardens, painting, walking with the dog and reading.
