Hi,
There is serious shortage of engineers in New Zealand. The skills shortage list includes both mechanical as well as electrical engineeers.
I am in process of hiring engineers from India and Philippines to fill vacancies in my company. (www.intermech.co.nz)
The main skills required are good drafting skill with any 3D software and machine design. In electrical engineering experience in handling PLC, modbus/ profibus will be of use. I am essentially looking for people with two years experience.
We will be able to help with immigration papers.
